Madam, Sir,

 Welthungerhilfe was established in 1962. It is today one of the largest private organizations working in the area of development cooperation and humanitarian aid in Germany. Non-profit-seeking, non-partisan, and non-denominational.

Donations from the population at large fund our work in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. In addition, Welthungerhilfe receives grants from the Federal German Government, the European Union, USAID/OFDA, the United Nations, and many other worldwide recognized donors.

For its project in Somaliland, funded by the BMZ, WHH seeks potential suppliers who provide Menustrual hygeine management kits.

WHH is implementing in Somalialand a project about Climate-resilient WASH and Livelihoods Package for Resilient Somali Landscapes. The aim of the project to enhance the livelihoods and resilience of 87,744 vulnerable agrarian and pastoralist people through protection and restoration of key natural resources and WASH services in agrarian, pastoral, and agropastoral areas through community-led actions and improved market access for key rural value chains. The project will partly be implemented by local partner NGOs in Somaliland (Togdheer and Sool) in close collaboration with relevant local and regional authorities’ other key stakeholders.

1. Remarks and special condition:

All offers must meet the terms, and conditions specified in the tender document. The quality and quantity must be in line with the specifications stated in this tender/RFQ:

• WHH holds the right to make slight changes to the technical specifications and quantities provided.
• In case an alternative to the specified items is offered, the supplier must clearly indicate the specification and excessively document with pictures.
• Offloading, packaging, delivery/transportation to agreed location, and unloading cost should be inclusive of commodity price.
• Supplies are obliged to indicate the current location of stock and availability of the items offered.
• Offered price should be inclusive of all taxes, duties, and other cost in accordance with the law of Somaliland.
• Payment of all taxes according to the law of Somaliland is the sole responsibility of the supplier.
