SOS Children’s Villages Somalia invites reputable and eligible suppliers and contractors to submit applications for prequalification for the supply and provision of goods, works, and services for the financial years 2026–2027. The objective is to establish a roster of qualified vendors who will be invited to participate in future procurement processes as and when required. This process serves as a due diligence exercise and does not guarantee any contract award.
Applicants must clearly indicate the Category Name and Item Code from the official Category Schedule. Each applicant may apply for a maximum of two (2) categories only
The prequalification exercise is structured into three main categories, based on geographical coverage and the type of service required. Interested and eligible vendors may apply for one or more categories, provided that separate submissions are made for each.
Category A: Regional Supplies and Services – Banadir and Hirshabelle Regions
Covers supply and delivery of goods, works, and services to SOS locations within Banadir and Hirshabelle, including Mogadishu, Balcad, and surrounding project locations.
Applicants must demonstrate a physical presence or operational capacity in these regions.
Category B: Regional Supplies and Services – Southwest and Jubbaland Regions
Covers requirements within Southwest and Jubbaland, including Baidoa and Kismayo.
Suppliers must be duly registered and compliant with local authorities and able to deliver within these areas.
Category C: National and Centralized Services – Consultancies and Specialized Services
Includes consultancies and professional services such as auditing, training, research, ICT, legal, and related areas.
Applicants under this category must demonstrate national coverage and relevant technical capacity.
