Position: Human Resources and Administration Officer
ActionAid International Somaliland (AAIS) is looking for acommitted and inspirational Human Resources and Administration Officer who combines passion for social justice with proven experience in the successful deliveryand coordination of key Human Resources and Administrative responsibilities
The Role:
The post holder reports to the Finance and Operations Manager and is charged with the responsibility of managing AAIS’s human resource and administration. S(he) facilitates staff recruitment, support talent development through managing procedures, formulate and implement policies and adherence to compliance. Maintain an effective and systematized file management system. S(he) handles administrative services and contribute to making AAIS abetter place to work.The position holder will bear significant responsibility for safeguarding and staff security.
1. Bachelor’s Degree either in Business Studies, Human Resources, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Management, International Development Studies or any other related area. Professional qualification in Human Resources will be an added advantage
2. 3 to 5 years’ Human Resources and Administrative working experience in a medium or large organisation. Experience working in an international organisations/non-governmental organisation is preferred
3. Proven experience in supporting Senior Management Team on corporate compliance to include annual accreditation, registration, insurance, payroll management and documentation.
4. Proven track record in facility management with experience in the running and maintenance of main and field offices.
5. Experience in managing employee databases and all aspects of staff records including medical files and others.
6. Significant experience in dealing with staff security and safeguarding protocols will be highly advantageous
7. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to handle sensitive staff matters
