Driver

The Role Summary:

The Driver ensure timely and safe support to field team operations and also drive field teams in support of operations.  The incumbent will also undertake courier/ liaison services as requested.    

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and quality support for operations.

• Drive project personnel and authorized persons to various destination as instructed
• Collect and deliver documents to various destinations as instructed
• Ensure good time-keeping and adherence to travel schedules

• Ensure safe working environment.

• Ensure basic vehicle safety and security equipment is in the vehicle at all times.
• Alert management of shortfalls/lack of safety & security equipment in vehicles.
• Undertake regular radio checks and respect convoy procedures.
• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and code.
• Monitor vehicle’s condition, informing management in the event of malfunction/repair.
• Maintain general cleanliness and serviceability of vehicle.
• Monitor security context and provide updates and advice to field teams. 

• Ensure customer focused/accountable service to support operations.

• Help the administration staff as and when required
• Maintain accurate and up to date vehicle/equipment records
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

Experiences and Qualifications

• Secondary Education Level(O-level)
• Technical Training Qualification-Valid driving license
• Minimum experience of 3 years
• Very good English communication skill
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information

Working Environment

• Office-based in Dollow, Jubaland State with domestic travel required from time to time.
