OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
To reduce childhood mobility and mortality attributable to vaccine preventable diseases by implementing routine and supplemental immunization activities for children and women of child bearing age in accordance with established technical guidelines. To eliminate measles and increase routine immunization coverage to at least 90% in all districts. To introduce new and underutilized vaccines in all countries with demonstrated burden of diseases and as needed.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Education
Essential: First level university degree in information or data management, computer sciences, statistics, applied math, public health, or a related field.
Desirable: Specialization in information management systems. Specific training in humanitarian response or emergency information management.
Experience
Essential: At least two years of related experience in information management, monitoring, and data analysis.
Desirable: Relevant work experience in WHO, other UN agencies; experience working in relevant non-governmental or humanitarian organizations. Experience in developing countries.
Skills
• Demonstrated ability to design, manage and analyze complex information system projects, computer-based applications and databases, web-based tools• High level of analytical skills.• Knowledge of programme management and functioning of WHO and the UN system is an asset.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at USD 47,967 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
