Construction of the New Goroyo Cawl Earth Dam and related civil works in Goroyo Cawl village, Borama district - Somaliland
Description
Goroyo-Cawl village is located approximately 10 km southwest of Borama town, along the Hargeisa-Borama Highway. It lies in the western part of Somaliland, near the border with Ethiopia, within the Borama district of the Awdal region.
The proposed earth dam construction (located at approximate GPS coordinates: 9.871913° N, 43.22599° E) aims to provide water to an estimated 1,000 families and their livestock. The water supply will also serve the nearby Goroyo-Cawl School, healthcare facility, and other local amenities.
This Invitation to Tender (ITT) aims to identify and engage a suitable construction contractor to undertake the construction of the earth dam, ensuring an improved water supply for the area and enhanced access to water and sanitation services for the local communities.
