Tender Description

World Vision Somaliland program is implementing an integrated development activity which 

include; Agriculture, livelihood, Water and Sanitation, advocacy and Resilience. World Vision 

Resilience and Livelihood sector started a project named (Area Rehabilitation Program 

(ARP) Enhance resilience in Odweine community). The goal of the project is to increase 

the resilience of vulnerable communities in Odweine District in order to make them self-reliant 

through improved natural resource assets, resilience to shocks through CBDRR interventions, 

increase income and productive assets, and longer-term resilience and prevention of malnutrition 

for 8 target villages under Odweine District. 

Therefore, Word vision invites local Suppliers with proven experience of establishment of 

greenhouse and provision of greenhouse materials/equipment for production of vegetables in 

Cabdidheere village, Odweine district. Thus, to tender for the supply of greenhouse materials

and establishment of greenhouse in the designated farmland in Cabdidheere village, the 

conditions and technical requirements is stated in this invitation at the below Section A:

Important note: 

Offers transmitted in any other manner than those indicated above will not be considered. 

Your offer should clearly indicate: 

➢ Unit price of items as per the Bill of Quantity (BoQ) for green house Galvanized Frame and 

Shade net, drawings and specifications of vegetable seeds and farm tools in Annex I.

➢ Offer Price should be net after deduction. Applicable Taxes must be clearly stipulated and 

separated from the base costs.

➢ Transport cost of all materials to the farm site in Cabdidheere village, Odweine district.

➢ Validity of the offer. 

➢ Delivery time of all materials and time of construction of greenhouse/setup.

Information to bidders: 

1. The tender should be submitted at latest by 21

st April 2025 @ 04:00 PM

2. Currency of offer should preferably be in US Dollars, but in case local currency is offered, the 

comparison of offers will be based on the prevailing rate of exchange. 

3. World Vision reserves the right to accept the whole or part of your offer. 

4. World Vision Somaliland reserves the right to accept or reject any application (bid), and is not 

bound to give reasons for its decisions. Canvassing or giving false information will lead to 

automatic disqualification. 

SECTION A: EVALUATION CRITERIA 

1. Mandatory Requirements: 

1. Provide copy of valid certificate/license of business registration.

2. Provide copy of a valid tax clearance of business. 

2. Technical Requirements: 

• References from previous customers (at least two and maximum 5 customers)

• Proven experience of similar work of supply of farm tools, vegetable seeds and 

establishment of greenhouse in the field for LNGO/INGO/Private farm owners. Provide 

copy of contracts, Purchase Orders (PO), framework agreements/service provision 

agreements etc.

• Experienced technical staff qualified for establishment of greenhouse Galvanized Frame 

and Shade net. Provide list of staff and their CVs and qualifications.

• The supplier is responsible for the transport and uploading/offloading of all Greenhouse 

materials/equipment, and vegetable seeds should deliver at the designated farm site in 

Cabdidheere village.

• The supplier is responsible for the construction of Greenhouse Galvanized Frame and 

Shade net at the designated farm site in Cabdidheere village.
