DESCRIPTION: Expression of Interest – Supply of Bicycles
World Vision is a relief, development, and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families, and communities. We work with community members, supporting them to overcome poverty and injustice. Our aim is to lift poor and marginalized households out of the vicious cycle of dependence by addressing the underlying causes of vulnerability to environmental and socio-economic shocks.
Background:
World Visión Somaliland is implementan the Gift Catalogue Project in Gabiley, Somaliland, with the goal of increasing the resilience of vulnerable communities in Gabiley District and contribución to their overall wellbeing through improved food security, health, and recreation.
As part of the project’s activities, there is a specific intervention designed to meet the urgent winter needs of the most vulnerable groups. This includes the distribution of winter clothes, blankets and bicycles to orphaned children residing at the Gabiley Orphan Center. Additionally, support will be extended to mothers of children aged 0–5 years who access services at Maternal and Child Health (MCH) facilities supported by World Vision in the district. This intervention seeks to provide warmth and protection during the cold season, thereby contributing to improved health and comfort for both children and their caregivers.

We hereby invite Expression of Interest from registered, approved and reputable suppliers to provide above-named goods to World Vision International Somaliland Program.
