1. The Country has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost
   of the Build Resilience for Food and Nutrition Security (BREFONS) project and intends
   to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of
   new Abbattoir in Gebiley & Rehabilitation of existing Abbattoir in Borama. Save the
   Children International fulfils the role of the project’s Implementing Agency. For this
   contract, the payments will be processed using the Direct Payment disbursement
   method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for
   Investment Project Financing.
2. The Save the Children International as the Implementing Agency for the project now
   invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of new Abbattoir in Gebiley
   & Rehabilitation of existing Abbattoir in Borama as detailed below:

Bids are invited, and Bidders shall bid for ‘Works’. A single contract will be awarded to the successful Bidder.

1. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (national), OCBN procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework dated October 2015 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
