DESCRIPTION: Expression of Interest – Sourcing Suppliers for Hay-Baling and Charcoal-Processing Machines
World Vision is implementing the Regreening Africa Phase II Project with support from the European Union (EU) to strengthen climate resilience, restore degraded landscapes, promote sustainable natural resource management, and improve livelihoods of rural communities in Somaliland. As part of efforts to enhance community-based natural resource management and create alternative livelihood opportunities, the project intends to support selected community groups in Burao District with appropriate equipment for hay production and sustainable biomass utilization. The intervention seeks to improve fodder conservation during good rainfall seasons through hay baling while promoting environmentally friendly charcoal and biomass briquette production as an alternative income-generating activity. To achieve this objective, World Vision seeks to identify and engage qualified suppliers capable of supplying, delivering, installing, testing, and providing after-sales support for hay-baling machines and charcoal-processing machines.

Interested bidders must be registered to provide goods in Somaliland.

Instructions for submission of completed proposals shall be indicated on the Request for Proposal document.
Nothing in this Expression of Interest shall be construed to give rise to contractual obligations with World Vision.
World Vision, may at its absolute discretion, suspend or defer this EOI process.
